FYI. It is sad that she thinks she must apologize for a “native person” who is actually Pretendian. I am going to send a response to Livia’s email and my suggestion on how to prevent an AIW participation of members of phony “Indian tribes”, pretendians and wannabees soon, when I feel a bit better.

Dear AIW,

I am writing to give my gratitude and appreciation for having been able to participate in this year's AIW in Budapest. With the help of Judit Kadar and the US Embassy folks, I was able to be a part of something I will never forget. I was touched by all of your discussions and work on the conditions of Native America, past and present. I was so fascinated by all of it and have come back home to my reservation with a sense of being cared about. I am truly grateful for each of your part in this. Having your interests in our plight is incredibly important. Thank you. It means a lot to me.

I also want to acknowledge the great effort Judit Kadar did in bringing me and my artwork into the discussion. The respect and thoughtfulness I felt in her care while busy trying to hold a conference together was amazing. I am happy to call her my new friend. I left with much love in my heart for her and Lukas. I apologize for the behavior of some of our native people who were there in a disrespectful way, and hope that their actions and words do not reflect badly on all Native Americans or on Judit .

Again, I want to thank you all for your kindness, your work, your words, and your continued journey in understanding the world we all inhabit.
