Dear all,
I have got a request from Avelino Corral Esteban, Dpto. Filología Inglesa, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, who would be interested to organize the 2025 AIW in Madrid/Spain. I know Avelino, because he was a participant in one of my Virtual Canadian Studies e-Learning Courses on Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
He does not know yet whether he can come to the AIW in Budapest. If he comes, he can present his application in the Business Meeting, if not, I will inform about it during the meeting.
Best
Renate
Dear Renate,
this sounds interesting. Moreover I know some collegues from the Dep. of English Studies/Universidad Complutense in Madrid who currently are editing a Routledge publication regarding Myth and Environmentalism (in print - it will contain a chapter based on my talk at the 41st AIW in Munich). Means, this could provide another local „fan community“ there.
But, as far as I understood, is Nijmegen already listed as a candidate for 2025. Isn’t this to be discussed with them before ?
best, Sonja
with best regards, Sonja Ross, Munich/Germany

Dear All,
Mr. Esteban is mostly welcome to attend the Bp AIW. Let us know if he can make it. Yes, I agree, Njmegen colleagues, Matilde for instance, should be asked first. Best: Judit
