Es handelt sich um einen 10.7. Mini-Server mit ein paar eigenen Modifikationen und allen installierten Updates. Die Postfix Installation ist Apple.

ja, das siehst du richtig: da will jemand seinen Müll bei die loswerden. Das ist normal. Auch bei mir kommt so etwas vor. Allerdings blocke ich solche Versuche mit fail2ban nach 3 fehlerhafte Versuche ab.

soweit ich das sehe müsste ich fail2ban installieren. Hat das schon einer auf Mac gemacht?

Kan ich da was tun oder einfach ignorieren?

Den Versuch könnte man ignorieren, allerdings hat deine Konfiguration ein Problem, da "smtpd" einen "error" meldet. Bitte "postconf -n" posten. Ist das eventuell ein Apple System?

Möglicherweise auch ein Apple besonderheit. Apple passt (patched) Postfix an damit ein paar typische Apple Funktionen besser integriert sind. Allerdings ist es damit auch nicht mehr einfach möglich eine neue Version aus den Sourcen oder aus anderen Repositories einzusetzten.

@Matthias Schmidt: Hast du eventuell ein Update aus einer nicht Apple-Quelle durchgeführt?
